Lucia Bonelli is an Italian social engaged artist who opens her ateliers in the city of Potenza to those who want to experiment how to give shape to their imagination. In her work old nail polishes, glues, recycled sand, used jute sacks and poor materials become essential to give substance to her multi-material paintings. Traces and layers of color are at the center of the experiments in the artistic space opened by the artist to the community: the Closlieu, a Protected Space where painting is learning to be, following the methodology of Arno Stern, a Parisian master who trains his Praticienne-servant, operators as Lucia who welcome every form of expression as a channel of communication, discreetly facilitating the balance that is created in heterogeneous groups of participants from 3 to 99 years old.
