THE VIRTUAL MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOPLASTIC DISPLAYS MORE THAN 200 OBJECTS FOUND ON THE SEA SHORE

Archeoplastica is the museum of plastic waste found on the shores of the Mediterranean sea, on the coast of Puglia, in southern Italy.

Since 2018, over 200 “findings”, dating back from 30 to 60 years ago, have been selected to create this bizarre virtual museum. Through the photogrammetry technique, the archaeoplastic findings found on the beach in the last three years can also be observed in 3D.

Archeoplastica is a growing project created to raise awareness of the problem of plastic pollution and promote a more conscious and responsible use of this material, thanks also to various exhibitions in schools and other public places.
