Nada Ahmed is a Nubian/Egyptian writer, artist and activist based in Marseille, France. Their expression ranges between poetry, spoken word, comics, illustrations, storytelling and voice-over. Nada’s passion for artivism inspired a decade of building experience in workshop facilitation and art-based education. They curated and performed in a year-long educational program hosted and funded by UN Women, implemented in a series of theater and dance workshops all across Egypt, addressing topics such as feminism, FGM, biodiversity protection and climate change. Nada’s work now aims at creating a curriculum with more diverse mediums of interest like comics, writing and storytelling workshops on sexuality, gender, mental health and recycling.
