Boris Jean is a visual artist, set designer and filmmaker. His work transforms reclaimed materials—plastic packaging, cardboard and everyday objects—into miniature cities, imaginary worlds and cinematic installations. Inspired by the handcrafted special effects of early cinema, he creates landscapes that become vast once photographed or filmed.
Through workshops for children, teenagers and adults, Boris invites participants to build, film and animate their own worlds using recycled materials. His approach combines environmental awareness, imagination and simple film making techniques, showing that it is possible to create a sense of wonder with very limited means.
