NEW ERA

– NEW ERA –

Mixed media: acrylic and spray paint on canvas.

Base color for the background, cool scales of green, followed by scales of blacks and grays.

With the present work titled NEW ERA, the very concept of the work's name is represented.

A conceptual and surrealist landscape, an imaginary place enveloped in fog that, as it dissolves, reveals its main elements.

A primordial forest of conifers occupies the lower part of the painting, giving depth to the scene. Flocks of birds populate the sky enveloped by clouds; the light in which the elements are enveloped is that of the dawn of a new day. On the right side of the painting, a pyramid building emerges from the fog, citing the constructive elements of the Brutalist architectural movement.

The work aims to transport the observer from an inner landscape to a landscape of the near future.
