François Rossier has been working as an autodidact furniture upcycler in Berlin for 11 years. He previously worked as a film director (London Film School). When, out of impatience, he started cutting wood instead of films, he realized that making a film takes seven years and making a table only seven days. Since then, he has been inventing practical solutions for abandoned objects that long for a new life.
From the debris of time he creates unique pieces with history, as if he had to prepare a great dish for a king and queen exclusively with what he has in the fridge at the moment. And this is how his art-use objects are created from nothing.
